About Akshara

I am an undergraduate student studying Medicinal Chemistry and am looking forward to support your knowledge of Maths or Biology or Chemistry or all of them with 2 years' experience tutoring Maths for year 10 & 11 students with their GCSEs and tutoring KS2 &KS3 students for a year. Studying chemistry has broadened my understanding of the subject and I am confident I will be able to teach it effectively.

About the lesson

I will start the session with a starter activity to get their brains in action, then I will prioritise the topics that they need help with by going through practice questions. Lastly, I will end the session with some exam style questions and discussion as to what they would like to do in the following session. The lessons will typically be an hour long. I am looking forward to guide and support students' learning.
