My first language is Welsh, and I am proud of my language and national identity, and am keen to use my love of the language in a way that would benefit others. I am an undergraduate student at the University of Exeter studying English and French.

I can offer online lessons with flexible hours for students up to GCSE level in Welsh language, literature and reading. I have experience in supporting year 7 & 8 pupils in developing confidence in their reading. I am approachable and adaptable, as I feel it's important to ensure that the student's learning experience is as personalised as possible. I offer hour-long sessions and initially would discuss the student's targets and design a learning plan, including resources that would best meet these goals. I believe that self-assesment is an excellent way to develop confidence, so in cases where examples of the student's previous work are available, I would also use these as part of exercises to improve and so that the student gains confidence in their work.
