About Jaime
My name is Jaime, and I am Spanish. I have just recently arrived in Manchester to study chemistry at UoM. However, this is not my first time in the UK, as I went to boarding school in the south of England.
I have then sat my IGCSEs and A-levels in a British school in Madrid.
In my free time, I love going out with my friends and spend hours and hours under the sun in Madrid. I am a foodie person as well so I am always up to discover anything that has to do with food.
I also love playing tennis and going skiing in winter!

I have been tutoring for almost 2 years now, therefore I can proudly say that I have some experience in this world. Normally, I like asking my students, a couple of days before our sessions, what are the topics at school they are struggling with. Then I familiarize myself with the content and I try to find a suitable way of explaining it.
During the lesson, I use different resources to deliver the content, these include quizzes, videos, conversations, hand-drawn diagrams, textbooks, and so on.
Last year I finished school with A-level results of 3A* in maths, physics, and chemistry. Due to my extensive knowledge in these subjects, I was able to teach chemistry IGCSE for a year as well as English (for non-native speakers since I am originally from Spain).
I can teach up to A-level.
