About Chloë
Hi! I’m Chloë, an engineering student at the University of Sydney with a strong passion for math and helping others understand it. I know from experience that math can feel challenging — but with the right explanation and support, it can become logical and even enjoyable. My lessons focus on understanding the “why” behind the numbers, not just memorizing formulas. I use clear step-by-step methods, visual aids, and relatable examples to build confidence and mastery. Lessons typically run for one hour, but I adapt to each student’s pace and needs. Whether you’re revising for exams, catching up on classwork, or aiming to improve your problem-solving skills, I’ll help you strengthen your foundations and reach your goals. I teach high school students (Years 7–12) in introductory STEM subjects. With my background in advanced mathematics and physics, I’m confident I can support all ability levels — from those who need patient guidance to those aiming for top marks.

Teaching approach: I focus on helping students truly understand why math works, not just how to solve problems. I use step-by-step explanations, real-world examples, and visual methods (diagrams, color coding, and analogies) to make abstract concepts easy to grasp. I encourage questions and guide students to build confidence through guided practice and clear feedback. Lesson length: Typically 1 hour, with flexibility depending on the topic and the student’s pace. Experience & qualifications: I’m an engineering student at the University of Sydney with a strong background in mathematics, physics, and problem-solving. I’ve helped many students improve their grades and confidence by breaking complex topics into simple, logical steps. Who my lessons are for: High-school students (Years 7–12) who want to strengthen their foundations, prepare for exams, or get ahead in class.
