About Rafael
I've always considered teaching to be one of the things I am best at. I am very patient and do not give up, especially on students. I taught my youngest brother how to play basketball. I've never played on a school team, yet he is starting point guard in high school. I believe in cultivating a respectful and engaging learning environment. I want my students to look forward to learning. I hope to foster that inspiration in them. The most important thing to me is that we have fun. We all have bad days so I'll have routine check-ins. The key to a healthy learning environment is a healthy student and I want to keep my students in as good of health as possible.

My mission with students is to teach them not just to speak in Italian, but first to THINK in Italian. My goal is to have students learn a handful of verbs and begin to use them in conversations. By the end of each lesson, students will be able to show their knowledge and skills with their new words. I can confidently teach elementary and middle school level Italian, but could feasiblu teach high school level as well.
