About Marina
As previously mentioned, I have always excelled in school. In highschool I was a straight A student, and I have continued this into University. However, the reason I have been able to excel is not because I am "smart" - rather, it's because I work hard, and have developed several strategies over the years to ensure that I can actually understand and apply content rather than simply memorizing it. If you decide to take lessons with me, I can help teach and explain course content, but more importantly, I can teach you how to think (and write) like a university student ;)

Hey there! My name is Marina, and I'm going into my third year of undergraduate studies at UofT Mississauga. I have achieved excellent grades in my classes (overall GPA of 3.8 and placement on the Dean's list), and I can help you achieve excellent grades too! I can assist with any introductory level psych or soc classes, as well as teach basic statistics and essay writing skills. A typical lesson plan for me would be to first review the content/chapter, assist the student with assignments or written work, and then suggest study strategies or alternative resouces which may help them prepare better for tests. Lessons will be held online!
