About Yi Chao
As a tutor with four years of experience teaching H2 Physics, Chemistry, and Math to JC students from a variety of schools, including RJC, EJC, NJC, VJC, HCI, and ACSI, I am proud to have consistently helped my students improve their grades and deepen their understanding of these subjects. With a 90% success rate in my students achieving As in the subjects I teach, I have a proven track record of helping my students succeed.
My teaching philosophy revolves around breaking down difficult concepts into digestible pieces, enabling my students to truly internalize and understand the material. I also place a strong emphasis on helping my students learn how to analyze exam questions and identify the key points, a skill that will serve them well not only in their exams but also in their future studies and careers.
In addition to providing comprehensive notes and materials, I am also readily contactable outside of lesson time, ensuring that my students have the support they need to succeed. My students have consistently reported that my approach to teaching not only helps them improve their grades but also makes the learning process more enjoyable.
As a graduate of EJC with top-tier performance in my sciences and participation in the Chemistry and Physics Olympiad, I have an extremely strong foundation in these subjects and am able to go beyond the syllabus to provide a well-rounded education to my students. My relatively young age also allows me to connect with my students on a personal level, making them more willing to listen and learn from me.
