About Jadon

I am a very disciplined and organized person who is determined to help others achieve their goals in academia. I have a deep appreciation for academics as well as a passion to expand my knowledge and mind. I wish to pass this passion on to other students, so that they can share the same happiness I receive when learning something new. I am a patient teacher who is open to accommodate whatever the students need in any situation. I hope to develop a strong connection to the students as well and build a sense of trust with them. This way they are more prone to listen to my methods of teaching. I would like to help the students grow in any way that I can.

About the lesson

My approach as a tutor would be one of patience and understanding to my students' needs. My lesson plan would include asking the student how he would like to learn, and create timeline diagrams to help the student understand the chronology of events. I also would tell the history in the form of a story with changes in voice and attitudes to represent different historical figures to make it interesting. I would also offer study habits the student can use to help understand events and historical figures' perspectives during that time period. I am different from other tutors because I have a true passion for history, especially U.S. history and would love students to learn from the past and see time as one continuous amazing story to tell. They should be excited to listen to it! Lastly, I scored a 5 on the AP U.S. History exam and received all As in my history classes including a 5 on AP U.S. Government and Politics.
