About Maria Emilia
Since I discovered I was good at math (when I was like 12 years old), I would help my best friends during recess hours explaining homework given to us or exercises explained during class. I was always the best in my class in math and physics until graduation, and at the same time I was always the one helping others by explaining to them everything they didn't understand (anything most of the time).
I never asked for anything in return, I was just pleased to help because by giving them classes I was also reviewing all the information all the time. I have a very kind and friendly approach to math, I like to make sure every single thing is being understood by everyone.
After high school, I pursued Civil Engineering at one of the most prestigious public universities in my country which is known for producing excellent professionals in engineering. I just graduated at the beginning of this year and I would like to have an additional earning aside from my primary job.

I have experience teaching for people who have trouble understanding math.
A typical lesson plan would look like this:
1. Explanation of math topic with slides, videos and a sample exercise.
2. Quick quiz to see who didn't understand and which concept was harder to digest.
3. 5 exercises given to each student
4. Presentation and explanation from each student of one exercise done by them.
5. Feedback for each presentation.
6. Conclusions for the class.
