Rui is a man of focus, commitment, sheer will. Not only he strives to achieve his goal. But as a teacher, he knows how to engage with his students, giving them the best way to study and also allowing them to truly understand the idea.

Rui is definitely one of the best teachers that I’ve been given the priviledge to meet up with. This man knows how to communicate his ideas thoroughly to his students, allowing them to actually apply the knowledge in real-life situations and practical lab trials.

He is very knowledgeable about the topics not only in physics, but in chemistry and biology aswell. He also explains complex problems thoroughly if you are really struggling to grasp certain concepts.

Rui is an honest and joyful individual that exudes a positive energy to those around him. He displays a strength in being able to be determined and cheerful when learning. As a student, Rui was a foreign student, yet in classes he would aim for the top no matter the obstacle and demonstrated a strong passion to achieve the very best. His positive attitude to learning and resilience consequently, I believe can be transferred to his students. I believe he can bring his students to have a passion and love for education and the essence of obtaining knowledge and skills.

Rui tutored me in VCE chemistry in 2018 and I completed my studies feeling confident in myself, he helped me every step of the way!
