About Sidra
I’m Sidra Saqi, a first-year Astrophysics student at the University of Hertfordshire with a strong passion for helping younger students feel confident in Maths and Science. I’m patient, friendly and explain topics in a simple, calm way that makes learning feel less stressful. I understand how overwhelming school can be, so I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I enjoy helping children build strong foundations, improve their understanding and realise that they are capable of much more than they think.

I teach my lessons in a calm, friendly and structured way, focusing on helping younger students build confidence in Maths and Science. I break topics into simple steps, use clear examples, and check understanding throughout the lesson. A typical session lasts around one hour, but I adjust the pace depending on the child’s needs and attention span. As an Astrophysics student, I’m used to explaining ideas clearly and patiently, and I enjoy helping students who need extra support with homework or class topics. My lessons are ideal for primary and lower secondary students (KS1, KS2 and KS3) who benefit from gentle guidance, personalised explanations and a positive learning environment.
