About Jessica
I have 6 years of biology teaching experience with K-12, high school, and bachelor’s first-year students in online live one-on-one settings on Zoom or Teams. My Bachelor of Science in Biology is from University of California, Berkeley and my Master of Science in Molecular Biology is from Stanford University. I developed my love for biology exploring tide pools and observing marine life during childhood beach trips in California. What drives me as an educator is helping students discover that biology isn’t just memorization—it’s the science that explains how their own bodies work and how all living things are connected. I offer flexible lesson times to fit your busy schedule and provide anytime support between sessions because I know biology questions often arise while you’re studying independently, and getting quick answers keeps you motivated and confident.
