About Anya
Hi, I'm Anya! I'm about to start at the University of Cambridge to study Biological Natural Sciences, and I currently offer GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Maths online tutoring. I achieved all 9s in my GCSEs, and I am predicted 45/45 in the International Baccalaureate (equivalent to 5 A* in UCAS points). I am an academic scholar, recently receiving the Year 13 Maths and Biology award out of a 250+ year cohort, whilst also being the highest ranked IB student in my school. My recent experience in succeeding in my GCSEs has provided me with a range of effective studying techniques, as well as an up-to-date understanding of what examiners are looking for. I am passionate about my subjects and look forward to sharing this with my students.

I offer interactive online GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Maths lessons where I collaborate with students over a shared whiteboard, which they have access to after the session. Each lesson begins with an initial mind mapping activity to identify the students' current knowledge and make links between various ideas within the topic. Following this point, the structure of the lesson adapts to suit the students' needs, such as practice questions, content revision, and improving exam technique. At the end of every session, we build upon the initial mind map with additional knowledge to solidify the content covered in the session.
