About Ruby
Hello my name is Ruby, I am originally from London and I’m a Modern and Medieval Languages student at the University of Cambridge, where I study French, Spanish and Portuguese and also am currently studying undergraduate calculus alongside my main degree studies. With nearly five years of experience working with young people across childcare and education, I’ve supported hundreds of students aged 3–18 from a wide range of nationalities, backgrounds, and educational levels. This has shaped my flexible, empathetic approach — I adapt to each student’s needs and aim to create a warm, supportive space where they feel confident and understood.

I’m here to support you every step of the way, I have experience of working with hundreds of young people, am a big maths enthusiast and am able to cater to a range of learning styles! I have over 4 years teaching maths from Reception-GCSE, hold several Mathematical Olympiad titles and top exam results in Maths, and I lead engaging hour long sessions tackling tricky maths topics and breaking down the theory in simple steps!
