About Claire
I've been tutoring for the past year, mostly english and science. I am studying Optometry at UC and graduated from school in 2019. My students have done extremely well in testing conditions at school and have helped them to gain confidence in both these areas.

I teach my student by going on a week-week basis. I focus on the topic they are learning at school, as I found that a solid routine and structure helped my own studies and also those of others. I begin with going over what the students started with, homework help and then consolidating the knowledge they've learnt by putting it into practice by providing them with practice questions.

Details
I have a 12hr cancellation policy, where I won't charge if the lesson is cancelled within this time. I also charge more if I have to travel to the lesson. My rate also changes depending on the student's grade and academic level. Currently my preferred hourly rate is at $30/hr but this is entirely dependent on the financial ability of my students, so am happy to accommodate.
