About Jeanluc
Jean-Luc is Master's student at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
With two degrees, a BSc chemistry and computer science and BSc (Hons) chemistry at UCT, he is keen to meet students from different backgrounds and passionate to teach and positively impact their lives. He has been tutoring computer science, chemistry, mathematics for the past two years.

My teaching practices involves steps:
1. I would ask you want to learn.
2. I would tell you what you need to learn and be able to do by the end of the session.
3. I would explain and ask you basic conceptual questions orally and encourage you to ask me questions to determine whether you are grasping my explanation.
4. I would provide you with a written summary of my all my explainations and assemble a set of exam-type questions related to the topics of discussion via email or whatsapp etc. after every sesssion.
5. I would provide free memos and marking of the the set of questions provided in step 4.
Homework solution:
1. I would explain to you what the question wants you to solve and how to approach to the problem.
2. I would solve as many questions as possible explaining every steps and techniques during your choosen time-frame or I would provide guidance and tips on how to solve them on your own if these are lengthy problems.
3. If it involves coding then I will upload the source code in a repository e.g GitHub that you can look and or download to your own laptop.
