My lessons are for students preparing for their GCSE and A-level exams.
I find that students at this level respond well to a tutor who is direct and honest with them, but also genuinely invested in them and their progress. Being relatively close in age - and having been through the same exams myself, makes it easier to relate to the pressure they feel and communicate in a way that feels more comfortable and accessible rather than intimidating. I make a point of understanding each student's learning style early on, whether they need more visual explanations, worked examples to follow, or to be pushed into attempting problems independently before receiving guidance.
Each lesson typically lasts between 60 to 120 minutes - optimal for allowing for thorough coverage of the topic whilst maintaining student concentration.
