About Yigit
Hi! I’m a first-year Finance & Accounting student at the University of Edinburgh. I have always had a strong interest in Maths/Physics and problem-solving, which is one of the reasons I decided to pursue a degree in Finance & Accounting. Throughout school, I particularly enjoyed Maths/Physics and was fortunate to achieve strong results in the subject.
Having completed my secondary education in Scotland, I have a good understanding of the Scottish education system and the expectations of National 5 and Higher courses. I also have experience taking on leadership and mentoring roles throughout school, which has helped me develop my communication skills and taught me the importance of being patient and understanding when helping others.

Having recently completed the Scottish school system myself, I understand the challenges students face with Maths/Physics and the importance of preparing effectively for exams. I aim to make lessons relaxed and approachable while focusing on the areas where each student needs the most help.
My approach is not simply to give students answers, but to help them understand why something works so they can confidently solve similar questions independently.
