About Emma
I am passionate about sharing my love for the Spanish language and the diverse cultures of Spain and Latin America with students. I aim to help them discover the power of language, not only as a tool for academic success but also as a way to enhance their overall learning, comprehension, and critical thinking skills. Tutoring also allows me to continue deepening my own knowledge and fluency in Spanish, as I believe teaching is one of the most effective ways to grow both personally and professionally.

I offer personalised Spanish tutoring for students who are studying Spanish at school, from beginner to advanced levels. Whether your child needs help with grammar, conversation, writing, or preparing for exams, I tailor each session to meet their individual learning goals and school requirements. My Approach to Teaching: I believe in creating an engaging, supportive learning environment that builds confidence and curiosity in language learning. My sessions combine structured lessons with interactive activities such as conversation practice, reading comprehension, vocabulary games, and cultural insights to keep students motivated and interested. I adjust my teaching style based on the student's learning preferences and always prioritise clarity and patience. Lesson Structure and Length: A typical tutoring session is 60 minutes long, although I can adapt to shorter or longer sessions depending on the student's needs and attention span. My Qualifications and Experience: I hold a Master’s degree in Spanish and have been learning since I was 12. My academic background involves language, literature, and culture which allows me to provide a well-rounded and immersive learning experience.
