About Dominic
I have just graduated with a high 2:1 Maths degree from the University of Exeter. I have A Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics (A*BB) and 11 GCSEs including an A* in Maths. The topics I learnt at GCSE and A Level were used in all aspects of my degree, so I continue to have exceptional subject knowledge for the levels I wish to tutor. I have also recently been through the examination process, understanding not only what is required in order to succeed but also the stresses associated with it.

I wish to give friendly and informal tuition to students of any ability that may find themselves struggling with any number of topics in their maths GCSE or A Level.
I often found if I was struggling with a concept, not just in maths, the issue usually arose because the teacher would only provide one perspective, when there are often many ways of looking at each problem. I base my tuition upon trying to find an effective, alternative method of tackling a question.
I understand every person has their preferred way of learning and I wish to cater to this. I also understand how boring and mundane maths is to a large proportion of students. That is why I tailor everything I teach to each student, trying to provide context to real life situations where I can to help engage them.
