About Kate
I studied English Literature (A*), EPQ (A*), History (A), and Classics (A) for my A-Levels. I am now doing an undergraduate degree in History and Ancient History at a Russell Group University, having achieved an average grade of 75% this year (First Class Honours). I plan on pursuing academia into the future and my interests particularly lie in Medieval and Early-Modern European studies. In my spare time, I love to go to the gym, listen to music, and read!

Hi! My name is Kate and I am keen to keep my lessons friendly and patient, with an emphasis on listening to the student and addressing exactly what they are struggling with. Before the sessions begin, we will take the time to understand this and carefully tailor the sessions to the individual and their concerns. Lessons can be any length of time, although an hour is typical, and for any student in pre-University education. I have experience with a number of exam boards and I will base our sessions on the materials that your exam board has issued, such as mark schemes and past papers. I can help with any humanities subject and topic within the subject providing that we have discussed this beforehand and allowed me to compile adequate materials and formulate plans for future sessions.

I would recommend initially doing a 30 minute (or less) free session to discuss the intentions behind future lessons. This is also an opportunity for you to give me any necessary information about your learning style.
