About Mollie
I am a recent graduate from Eastern Kentucky University, and have tutored many students one on one in English Learning in several settings. I have worked in an elementary school assisting learners with their classwork, and I have taught classes of up to 20 adults. I spend a lot of time learning other languages, and I have studied Spanish and Mandarin on a collegiate level. I hope to take the challenges and lessons I have learned and translate them into efficient learning for others.

My teaching style is interactive, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s goals. I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable making mistakes and actively using English in real-life situations. Rather than focusing only on memorization, I combine conversation practice, grammar instruction, pronunciation, reading, and listening activities to create balanced lessons that keep students engaged.
I have experience teaching English to adult immigrants as well as elementary school-aged children through previous internships. Whether a student is a complete beginner or more advanced, I work to make lessons clear, organized, and enjoyable.
A typical lesson may include:
