Hey there!
I'm Taylor, an English tutor, and I'm excited to become your English teacher! With a Summa Cum Laude distinction, I hold a B.A. in Intelligence Studies from American Military University. Drawing from over 3 years of teaching experience both domestically and internationally, my expertise spans various educational settings. Recently, I had the privilege of instructing English at the infant and primary levels in Barcelona, Spain. During my time there, I obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from the International University of Catalonia. Additionally, I offered private English tutoring and guided students in their preparation for Cambridge exams, renowned tests for English proficiency.

My learner-centric approach embraces individuality and offers personalized learning paths. Your child sets their own goals, explores topics of interest, and learns at their own pace. We will build on their strengths, address their challenges, and cultivate their English language skills, empowering them to become independent, confident learners.
Each lesson is typically an hour long and focuses on the vocabulary, writing, reading, listening, and/or speaking goals of your child. To maximize student engagement and provide a rewarding experience, I reserve the final 15 minutes of each lesson for an interactive educational game. This not only serves as a delightful reward for the student but also enhances overall participation and learning outcomes.
While my lessons primarily target elementary-level learners, I also provide specialized literature tutoring services tailored for teenagers and adults.
