About Yana
Hello:) My name is Yana and I am a student studying at University of Guelph, majoring in Biomedical sciences. I not so long ago graduated high school with an 88% GPA with honors and a solid knowledge of French as well. In high school I took chemistry, Biology, Physics, Math, etc., in which all I received a grade above 85%. I myself know how hard and stressful high school and school can be in general which is why I want to help anyone that is struggling with preparation for exams or simply needs help in a class. I am an extremely patient person that ensures that all my students are comfortable and feel heard. I hope to hear from all of you soon!

As a tutor I like to keep my students engaged, making sure that I am teaching them in a way that they can understand and absorb the knowledge. One of my favorite teaching strategies is creating a short but informative lesson. The information is short but informative and after each new concept I like doing a worked out example for subjects like physics, chemistry, and math, while Biology I like to connect the theory to real life examples to help the students visualize. The lessons would be for students in elementary school to high school. I understand that each student is different and everyone learns at different speeds and levels and as a tutor I am willing to meet them halfway to help as needed.
