About Abdullaah
I am an English for Academic Purposes and Foundation Year University Lecturer. This includes writing essays, reports, referencing, researching and delivering presentations. I have been teaching for over 9 years now. My students have gone on to achieve a 1st class honours degree at Masters level including one who got the best thesis in the whole university.

I teach Academic English to university students and those looking to become university students. This includes Bachelors, Masters and PhD level. Students are primarily those whose second language is English or they have been out of education for a very long time. So, they need to become familiar with how to write university assignments. My classes are always student centred, so the student is expected to participate in class. This is the best way to learn - as the student gets involved, they use the target language and apply what they learn in class - this sticks in the memory more. Theory with practice.
