About Ryan
A personable, friendly and knowledgable secondary level Spanish tutor. I've been studying Spanish for over 10 years. I'm currently studying Spanish as part of my college course, and last year I spent a number of months living and attending university in Spain. I'm results orientated, and invested in helping to attain the student's desired grade. I've attained my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, and as a result I've gained deep knowledge in the structuring of language lessons.

I've spent over 10 years learning Spanish, so I'm more than equiped to tutor students for their state examinations. I provide 40-50 minute classes online for a below average rate. Secondary level Spanish students welcome, with an emphasis on preparing for the writen/aural/oral examinations. The level, aspirations and focus for the student will be established in a free 25-30 minute lesson.
Before the lesson, a small amount of material will be sent to the student to prepare them for the target language of the lesson. This will be very brief, and quickly reviewed during the lesson.
The structure of the lesson will depend on the student's focus/level, whether that be written/aural/oral or a particular grammar structure/set of vocabulary. The teaching will either be done through conversation or specific targetted activites. I take personal notes for each student, paying special attention to any repeated mistakes which we can review at the end of the lesson.
After the lesson there will be a brief consolidation task focussed on the target language of the lesson.
