About Marco
University of Maryland Biochemistry graduate with a minor in Philosophy and hands-on experience tutoring Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry at the university level. I know how overwhelming STEM courses can feel, so I focus on creating a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions freely and build genuine confidence in their skills. Whether a student wants to raise their grades, prepare for pre-health programs, or deepen their understanding of scientific concepts, I bring structure, clarity, and patience to every session. My goal is not only to help students master the material but also to spark their interest in it—because with the right guidance, anyone can succeed in STEM and even learn to enjoy the process.

My teaching method combines clear explanations with personalized guidance. I tailor every session to the student’s learning style through step by step breakdowns, visual explanations, conceptual review and practice problems. A typical lesson begins with a quick check-in to identify confusing topics, followed by a focused walkthrough of core concepts. We then work through targeted practice problems to build pattern recognition, confidence, and mastery. What sets me apart is my ability to make complex chemistry and biology topics feel intuitive, supported by years of hands-on experience as a Biochemistry major and tutor. My lessons are ideal for high-school, college, and pre-health students in Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, and other STEM courses.
