About Kobe
I am a York University Math major, pursuing a specialized BA with Honors degree in Actuarial Science. I volunteered tutored at my high school from 2018-2019 in the areas of Mathematics, Integrated Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics . I currently tutor both privately, and with a company, the areas of middle and high school Mathematics (including IB Math, Advanced Functions, Data Management and Calculus) and middle and high school Sciences (including up to grade 12 Chemistry and Biology and grade 11 Physics).

My teaching methods revolve around assessing the needs of the student. An average session with me consists of: going over what was covered prior, whether it was during school or by myself; approach all new topics with background information, such as where it would be useful, any beforehand required knowledge on area, etc; engaging in the topic with my knowledge and understanding of the subject area, as well as the student's understanding; strongly suggesting questions; and finally, concluding with a run-down of what was covered, as well as a slight introduction as to what will be looked at next.
