About Samuel
I am a first-year Maths student at the University of Birmingham with AAA at A-Level including Maths, and I’m looking to tutor GCSE students who want extra support and clearer explanations. I believe that many topics become much more manageable when they’re broken down logically, and I aim to provide a structured, patient and encouraging approach. My focus is to help students feel more confident, improve their grades over time and build stronger mathematical understanding at a pace that suits them.

I teach GCSE Maths using patient explanations, guided practice and real exam questions in every session. Lessons typically last one hour and follow a structured plan: we begin with a short review to spot gaps, then work through examples on a particular topic. My approach focuses on strengthening core understanding, building confidence, and developing the techniques needed for exam success, including timed questions and topic-by-topic improvement. I am a Mathematics student at the University of Birmingham (AAA at A-Level including Maths), and I tailor lesson pace and content to each student. My aim is always to make maths logical, understandable and manageable. First lesson is free.
