About Fletcher
My lessons focus on the topic or assessments of the student and the criteria of the study design. I aim to provide students with an approachable and good humoured place of learning. I am happy to offer structured lessons or targeted approaches based on what the student and I believe they need. I can offer skills that a student can use in any of their chosen fields.
I am currently in my third-year at the University of Melbourne completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Art History as a double major. Through years 9-10, I had difficulty devoting sustained attention to school tasks. When I entered my VCE years, I felt that I could get better scores if only I had a way of motivating myself. Over this time, I found techniques that allowed me to achieve an ATAR of 97 and the top score of my cohort in 4 of my 5 subjects. I believe that every student can harness this same inner potential for great academic success.
I can teach adaptable and creative solutions to the challenges of student life. I prove this by choosing to wear convertible pants around campus. Convenient zippers can be used to remove the pants legs and turn the trousers into shorts. With these, I can survive the changeable Melbourne weather and look cool in the meantime. If you choose me as your tutor, you will get tips like these and more.
I am tutoring VCE students across multiple subjects; including but not limited to Psychology, Geography, Literature, Studio Arts as well as Religion and Society.
