About Jacob
My name is Jacob, a philosophy masters graduate. After finishing my undergraduate degree in Chicago, I lived out of my car and traveled North America--skiing, climbing, and reading as much as possible. It was a lived philosophical education of sorts. After a few years, and through a brief hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I elected continue my academic education in philosophy through the University of Montana.

I am a flexible teacher with experience teaching both intro-level surveys and sophisticate graduate-level courses. Philosophy is a discursive practice, best taught by participating in its pursuit. My lessons are most often taught through dialogue--asking and answering questions between both student and teacher. I am able and willing to teach any level of student in a variety of philosophical subjects.
