Methodology
I like to approach each lesson with an open mind and a positive attitude. I prefer to tutor K-12 and find success in rigorous studies followed by positive reinforcement.

I have over three years of experience. Currently, I work with two elementary aged students. One who strives for academic success while
overcoming personal struggles. The other is a high
achieving elementary student. Both families have
been highly pleased with the results of their tutoring
and academic success.
Rates
Details
A cancellation will be excused if received eight hours prior to the start of the lesson. If not received eight hours prior, the lesson will be required to be paid in full. The session can be rescheduled, but the resulting lesson will be at a 50% discount with the prior lesson still due in full. For example: Rate at $15.00. Lesson on 6/24 at 5:00 PM is canceled at 3:00 PM. A rescheduled lesson is made on 6/27. The bill for that week would be $22.50. Thank you for your patience and consideration. This policy is subject to personal discretion.

Corah is intelligent, patient, reliable and relates well to children. Before tutoring even begins she takes time to fully understand the objective. Is this test prep, reinforcement of classroom learning or an introduction of a totally new concept? Once learning begins, she will ensure the student is an active participant. She will follow up and ask questions to solidify understanding. If the student makes a mistake, she will probe to understand why they answered the way they did. Positive and constructive feedback goes a long way to build trust in the relationship between tutor and student and Corah has mastered the art!
