About Brooke
Currently, I am a graduate student at the University of North Florida studying biochemistry and molecular biology. I work in a research laboratory on mitochondrial DNA and how replicative component dysfunction can result in human-associated diseases and disorders. Outside of school, I am a photographer, videographer, I love to play guitar, do yoga, and read.

I use an interactive, concept-driven approach to simplify complex science topics through real-world examples, visual aids, and problem-solving exercises. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace and needs, ensuring they have a good grasp on fundamental principles before moving on. My ability to make science engaging and relatable through my passion in the subject sets me apart. I tutor high school and college students in subjects that encompass biology or biochemistry. I will help build confidence, improve critical thinking, and excel in exams and coursework.
