About Humza
Hi, I'm Humza. I studied Cancer Sciences at the University of Nottingham, and I've spent several years tutoring students aged 7 to 16 in maths and science.
Every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand how you learn best and build lessons around that, instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach. My students consistently improve their grades, and more importantly, their confidence.
I know what it's like to struggle with a subject and have to work hard to turn things around. That's what makes me patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed.

I take a personalised and student-focused approach to tutoring because every student learns differently. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each student to find study techniques that suit them. For example, I personally find that using colour helps me remember information, while another student may learn better through diagrams, repetition or active recall.
I focus on building strong foundations, explaining difficult concepts clearly, and using practice questions to reinforce understanding. Lessons typically last 1 hour and combine teaching, guided practice and independent questions.
I have over 5 years of tutoring experience with students from age 7-16 and am a University of Nottingham graduate in Cancer Sciences. My lessons are suitable for students of all abilities, whether they need help catching up, building confidence, preparing for exams or pushing towards higher grades.
