About Addy

I am a Registered Nurse and university lecturer with over 16 years of clinical experience and more than 10 years of teaching experience in nursing higher education. Throughout my career, I have supported hundreds of students to build confidence, improve academic performance and achieve their career goals.

My teaching is tailored to your individual learning needs. Whether you're looking to excel academically, strengthen your understanding of difficult concepts, or prepare for graduate employment, I provide structured, supportive and evidence-based guidance.

I can help you:
- Master challenging nursing and bioscience concepts.
- Build confidence in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology.
- Understand assessment questions, interpret marking criteria, and develop your own academic writing through personalised guidance and feedback. Please note that I do not write assignments for students.
- Develop effective study strategies, strengthen clinical reasoning and prepare confidently for exams.
- Prepare for graduate nurse applications, including CV review and optimisation, selection criteria, and interview coaching.

I offer tutoring for high school Biology and undergraduate nursing subjects, including human anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, acute care, chronic disease management, primary health care, palliative care and nursing research.

Lessons are conducted online and tailored to your learning style, pace and goals. Whether you need support to catch up, stay on track, achieve top results, or secure your first nursing role, I look forward to helping you succeed.

About the lesson

What to expect:

* Personalised one-to-one online lessons tailored to your individual learning needs and goals.
* Dedicated support via Zoom in a structured, interactive learning environment.
* Flexible scheduling, allowing sessions to be booked as frequently or infrequently as you need.
* A complimentary 30-minute consultation prior to your first lesson to understand your goals, identify learning needs and develop a personalised study plan.
* Academic tutoring for high school Biology and undergraduate nursing subjects, including assistance with difficult concepts, exam preparation, clinical reasoning, assessment requirements, marking criteria and academic writing.
* Graduate nursing career coaching, including CV optimisation, selection criteria, graduate program applications and interview preparation for Assistant in Nursing (AIN), Enrolled Nurse (EN), Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) and Registered Nurse Graduate Programs.

Whether you're aiming to improve your grades, build confidence or secure your first nursing position, sessions are designed to provide practical, individualised support to help you achieve your goals.
