About Matt
I absolutely adore teaching, hence the decision to take a gap year as a teacher in school. I am extremely passionate about music, and especially its accessibility to everyone, no matter the instrument or level. If you want a teacher who will work specifically on what you want to achieve, and doesn't just tell you what to do, then I believe I would be a great fit for you.

Typical lessons are 30 mins - 1 hr.
I have experience as an organist in churches, cathedrals, and at university and have worked as a teacher in schools. I specialised in performance and compositional techniques at the University of Oxford and direct several student and adult choirs.
I very much tailor my tuition to the individual. I can help one progress through the typical graded route, or I can teach someone who just wants a bit of fun and a more relaxed approach. I will provide what the client wants in a fun and interesting way.
I can teach people of any age or ability.
