About Fenja
I am a current student at the University of Oxford, studying for the MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy. I hold a B.A. in History and a B.A. in Political Science from Swarthmore College, USA.
I am a passionate teacher and mentor, and I enjoy guiding students through US and UK university admissions, and working with students to improve their essays and coursework. I take pride in ensuring the best possible outcome is achieved for each student.

I offer (up to undergraduate and graduate level) editing services for essays, coursework, and mentoring through UK and US university applications. My subject expertise includes International Relations, International Politics, Development Studies, Global Governance, and History. I have successfully mentored students through US and UK university admissions, and personally hold acceptances from Cambridge, Oxford, Sciences Po, LSE, and top US colleges across the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
I can advise on UK and US colleges and universities and help to write a successful personal application tailored to the course and/or university in question, as well as to you as a student. Typically this mentoring would require between 1 and 2 hours on call to discuss your university choices, university application, scholarship applications if applicable, interview practice if applicable, and then I would return edits of your work via email.
I offer standalone proofreading services, mentoring services, or package deals combining both. Please reach out to discuss package costs.

For proofreading admissions essays (including many comments and suggestions on the essay, an overall summary of what works well and what needs improving, and a 20 minute video call about the essay), I charge the following:

- personal statements (UK undergraduate): £40
- graduate application essays (UK and US): £50
- graduate application research proposals: £60
- short academic essays (0-2000 words): £70
- long academic essays (2000-4000 words): £120
- Very long academic essays (4000-10,000 words: £250
