About Sofia
I am a PhD student in Statistics and Machine Learning at the University of Oxford. I recently graduated from a Masters in Machine Learning at University of Cambridge, and, before that graduated with first-class honours in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. I have also worked at start-ups and large tech companies. I am Italian and Argentine, but have been lucky enough to study and work all over the world! I look forward to meeting you :)

I am currently a PhD student at Oxford, and I would like to continue teaching as I really enjoy it. I've tutored Maths GCSE and A-level students for years - and have more recently helped students with undergraduate engineering degrees and postgraduate machine learning courses. With GCSE and A-level students in particular, I focus strongly on learning methods and exam technique, as I know this is the most effective way of improving grades. I am also happy to help with entrance exams or university application reviews. I will do most lessons remotely - using both my laptop and an iPad in order to write maths out more clearly.
