About Gurpal
I am an undergraduate at Oxford University, and have worked on UNIQ Summer School for two years. I have been tried by and worked with the Universities Admissions staff, so understand the process, and how to help a student to stand out. I have also worked as a helper during interviews week, along side tutors, and also know how to best prepare for a humanities interview. I can help with how to revise for admissions tests, interviews and personal statement writing for a humanities degree.

My method depends on what part of the application the student needs support with. My goal is to fin their passion, and display their strengths through this process. I will be using materials approved by Oxford University Admissions to guide their personal statement writing. We will go through admissions tests, step by step, understanding how to best answer the questions. We will look at specimen papers, to see what topic may come up. Based on their persona statement and chosen Humanity, I can get resources to help them prepare for their interviews, and conduct the most realistic mock interviews possible. My main aim throughout this will be to build up the student's confidence, so that they will be comfortable in these rigorous entrance exams and interviews, and develop skills that they can later apply to their professional life too.
