About Bipasha
I am a lecturer in particle physics in the University of Southampton. I have completed my master's in Physics from the University of Kentucky in the USA and completed my PhD in theoretical particle physics from the University of Glasgow, and thereafter had postdoctoral positions and fellowship at Jefferson Lab in the USA, and the University of Cambridge before moving to Southampton. I have broad teaching experience at every level - starting from GCSE, A-level, undergraduate, master's to supervising PhD students. I have many years of relevant experience teaching students at GCSE, A-level and at equivalent levels in the USA, and helped them securing top grades in Physics and Mathematics.

I provide online teaching for GCSE and A-level Mathematics, and Physics, and further Mathematics, either one-to-one or in a small group. Typical length of the session is one hour, however, both frequency and length of the sessions are decided by the students, and could be changed anytime. My teaching is not based on one approach fits all, rather I improvise my teaching strategies depending on what the particular student needs the most. Some students require starting from basics, some are advanced preparing for the most difficult competitive exams. Therefore, my approach and pace of teaching in these situations also differ a lot. Before the lessons start, I would like to discuss with the students about their progress and understanding of the ongoing materials or previous year's materials and decide the best approach. Usually every session involves discussing most complex new concepts from the syllabus and solving some problems followed by some homework problems. After every 4-5 lessons I take a mock test to assess the progress of the student.
