About David
I am an experimental physicist with a background in condensed matter physics and neutron scattering experiments. I studied physics at New York University and completed my master’s degree in Applied and Engineering Physics at the Technical University of Munich.
My research experience focuses on experimental condensed matter physics, neutron scattering measurements, and scientific data analysis. I have worked with large experimental datasets and developed Python tools for scientific data processing and visualisation.
Through my academic work, I have gained strong experience explaining complex physical concepts in a clear and intuitive way. I enjoy helping students understand not only the mathematics behind physics problems but also the physical ideas and reasoning that make them meaningful.
I am happy to help students with university-level physics, research projects, and scientific programming for data analysis.

My lessons are designed for university students and researchers who want to better understand physics concepts and scientific data analysis.
I focus on helping students build a clear physical intuition while also developing practical problem-solving skills. Depending on your needs, lessons can cover university physics topics (mechanics, electromagnetism, condensed matter), experimental physics, or scientific data analysis using Python.
I have experience working with neutron scattering experiments and large experimental datasets, so I can also help students understand how physics is applied in real research environments.
During lessons we typically:
• clarify key concepts from lectures
• work through problem sets step by step
• analyse data and learn scientific programming
• prepare for exams or research projects
My goal is not only to help you solve problems, but to help you understand the reasoning behind them and become more confident working with physics and scientific data.
Lessons can be adapted to your level, from undergraduate physics courses to more advanced research-level discussions.
