About Lottie
My name is Lottie and I am currently studying for my undergraduate degree in physics. While I have always found comfort in academics and learning, I also feel inspired when tutoring. I know what it is like to feel stuck on something, and then finally having it "click", and it is so satisfying when I get to help other students find that moment. Teaching the subjects I love also establishes a new-found understanding, as I get to explain topics in multiple different ways to different students.

Hello! As a tutor, I’m passionate about making sure every student — whatever their ability — feels comfortable, supported, and confident in their learning. I know from experience that a teacher should never make you doubt yourself; instead, lessons should build trust, curiosity, and motivation. I offer lessons of 1–2 hours, tailored to your availability and needs, for GCSE and A-level students. My experience spans in-person and online tutoring, working with pupils from Year 3 through to Year 13. Academically, I achieved A*s in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics at A-level, and 10 Grade 9s (A**) at GCSE. I combine this strong subject knowledge with a patient, encouraging approach, helping students not only improve their grades but also enjoy the process of learning.
