About Valeria
I’ve been performing since I was 8, and I’m currently studying piano at the bachelor level in my university. I can speak both English and Spanish and I have experience teaching large groups. I really enjoy sharing the joy of making music with others. In high school, I was president of the piano section at my performing arts school. That gave me a lot of experience in working with different learning styles. I would usually lead the group through the piece we were learning and then spent extra time helping individuals who were struggling.

A typical lesson involves:
-looking at the songs you want to learn
-discussing the music theory needed to learn the songs
-and going over basic techniques (such as reading sheet music, rhythm, or scales) depending on your level
It all depends on how serious the student is about improving.
The most important thing is that they have fun and enjoy the music while I encourage them to do their best.
I am better at teaching children and teenagers, but beginner adults(any age) are also very welcome to take lessons with me!
