About Marilyn
Marilyn Dodson loves helping support students in their love of music. She graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in Harp Performance. She has 25+ years of teaching experience. She is certified in all Suzuki harp books (1-5), served as the harp vice-president in the Suzuki Association of Utah, and served as a member of the American Harp Society Utah Chapter presidency. She is part of the harp faculty at BYU and performs as a member of BYU Faculty Harp Quartet.

In my studio I believe in individualized, and comprehensive harp instruction that includes technique, theory, composition, improvisation, ear-training, sight-reading, and solo and ensemble performance opportunities. I teach ages 3 and above, including adults of all ages and I teach all levels.
