My teaching experience is extensive and varied (30+ years of experience in teaching, tutoring, and training teachers; Master’s degree in Education, and State Certifications and clearances). I have a deep understanding of the principles of effective teaching and learning. I am skilled in training new teachers and in working with students from different backgrounds. I use a combination of direct instruction and discussion-based teaching, which is a very effective approach. Direct instruction allows you to present new information to students in a clear and concise way, while discussion-based teaching allows students to actively participate in the learning process and develop their critical thinking skills.
