About Alla
I am half Russian half English and have been brought up to use both of these languages with fluency. Thanks to such an exposure I have discovered an affinity for other languages too such as French, German and Chinese. I took GCSE and A-Level examinations in French, Russian and German and attained, A A* and A. I subsequently decided to continue honing my German abilities in University alongside a more challenging language in order to explore new vocabulary and grammar as well as the cultural nuances it brings with it.

I enjoy teaching languages by assessing a student first and catering my lesson to their exact needs and finding out the wain which they learn best. I believe that being comfortable engaging in discourse is paramount to learning a language as it encourages fluency and rapid thinking rather than on the spot translation from one's native tongue to the language they are learning.
