About Tessel
I am Tessel, a professional therapist and university student of Psychology. For four years now I have been teaching students who have difficulty with school subjects and learning strategies. Sometimes due to problems such as giftedness or autism. I write, read and listen English at the highest level (C2) and speak at C1. My students have cleared up their arrears within a short time and develop more confidence in their learning skills.

I use the students way of thinking to make the lessonprograms instead of using the general methods (of school). If that fits better, we can use textbooks and exam bundles as a guide. In the beginning of the lessons we will investigate what your skills and learning points are. On the basis of this I will draw up a teaching program, with an indication of the time it will take to get to your prefered level. We will discuss this during the next lesson, if this also seems a suitable lesson program to you, we will start! I am a calm person and students say that I am good at explaining subjects clearly. My expertise is to create an overview so that you can keep breathing calmly while you learn new skills. Because knowledge is harder to learn and remember with stress than with calm repetition. I have knowledge of learning strategies and will transfer this to my students where necessary so that you have the tools to continue yourself. Because I teach online, this facilitates flexible contact and increases my availability. Although the choice of frequency is of course up to you, I recommend to meet once or twice a week for intensive learning and once every 2 weeks for some help or further training.

Details
Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before class, afterwards I charge 50% of the original price. If you have chosen a bundle the discount is on lesson 5 and 10. For example: you have chosen the 10 hour bundle but cancel after lesson 7. The discount will be as if you have used a 5 hour bundle and 2 single lessons.
