About Angela
I have been tutoring for about a year now at the University of Nevada, Reno, and I have tutored students at all levels of Spanish. I am very easygoing and understanding, since I was not always fluent in Spanish, and I had to learn it in school as well. I have been taking Spanish classes since middle school, so I understand what it is like to be in a Spanish classroom, and the frustrations of not understanding certain topics, especially grammatical ones. Over the years, I have developed skills to help me understand these topics better, and I have helped other students and peers with their learning methods.

In my previous work experience with university students, I like to first gauge what level the student is at, and then alter my method of teaching accordingly. I also like to create a friendly, comfortable environment before the lesson starts by asking the student a few questions, trying to get to know them. I usually go over what the student has learned in class, and discuss what topics they are having trouble with. I break down the lesson with them, and then come up with a few example problems, so they can practice. Lastly, we go over their homework assignment, and I help them with whichever questions they are stuck on.
