About Lily
I am a college student with a passion for mathematics which has pervaded throughout my academic career. Sometimes, during high school summers, I would buy my own textbooks to teach myself about the concepts in mathematics that were interesting to me. I would even do that during the school year, if my classes were too slow for me! I also understand, however, the struggles that aspiring mathematicians may face. I know that oftentimes the way they teach math at schools does not fit everyone's learning style, and that can be hard. That is why my number one priority is tailoring my lessons to YOU.

I use a client-centered method which focuses on independent student growth through concept application. My students are my priority, and I make the effort to understand their specific learning style so I can tailor my lessons to them. I make use of the testing effect, among other contemporary psychological concepts in learning to effectively coach my students to the highest degree of understanding and success. I will provide tutoring for high school students and below. Lesson plan depends on student learning style.
