About Mathematics And

I am a university student with a strong background in mathematics up to Grade 12. I have always enjoyed math and developed a clear understanding of the subject through consistent practice and discipline.
Although I am new to formal tutoring, I am confident in my ability to explain concepts clearly and support students in a patient and structured way. I understand that math can feel challenging or overwhelming at times, and I aim to guide students in a way that builds both understanding and confidence.
I am reliable, committed, and take my responsibilities seriously. I prepare for lessons, pay attention to each student’s needs, and ensure that they are progressing at a comfortable pace.
Tutoring also allows me to stay connected to a subject I genuinely enjoy, while helping others improve and grow in their abilities.

About the lesson

I offer calm, supportive and student-paced math lessons for learners in Grades 8–10. My approach focuses on helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorizing steps. I break work down clearly and explain it in different ways until it makes sense, because I believe that strong understanding is what builds long-term confidence.
I create a comfortable and encouraging environment for students by motivating them and helping them realize their potential.
A typical lesson with me begins by identifying what the student struggles with, followed by clear explanations and guided examples. I usually explain concepts first and then allow students to try on their own, offering support where needed. I also place strong emphasis on revision and practice, as I believe consistent practice is key to improving in mathematics. I provide homework and additional exercises to reinforce understanding and track progress over time.
My lessons are aimed at Grades 8–10 students of all levels. I enjoy working with both learners who need help building their foundations and those who want to revise, refine, and strengthen their skills. I especially connect well with hardworking and determined students, including those who may be shy or lack confidence.
I am proficient in English and conduct all lessons in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
Beyond tutoring, my passion for math is what truly drives me. Although my current studies do not include mathematics, tutoring allows me to stay connected to the subject, continuously improve my skills, and share that understanding with others in a meaningful way.
